Very pretty and clean, NP

I’m just not a fan of that body style, especially the front end (maybe because every one that I see has yellowed headlights). I prefer the next gen.

I really like those cars, and I was about to say NP all day long, especially given the mileage. I even looked it up on NADA just to see how much below clean retail they’re listing at...holy shit they’ve depreciated. Even with the $1362 add for mileage, they’ve got clean retail at $5762.

Just can’t get into that front end for the same reason I couldn’t love the S-type.

Knock a grand off, and maybe. Nice looking car, not too common, better than an early 211. I think 210s are unfairly maligned, especially later ones. For as bad as people claim they are, I sure see a lot of them still on the road. You’ll want to be in a dry climate though, their Achilles heel seems to be rust.

1. It’s a 17 year old German car;
2. That red is not a good resale color;
3. The steering wheel is beige;
4. It’s a 17 year old German car.

Excellent choice. Something about this generation is so timeless.

From a visual standpoint, this is my favorite E-Class, and this color is one of the best.

1. You’re preaching to the choir.
2. I happen to like that.
3. I happen to like that too.
4. See 1.

I’m certainly considering one. I think I’d prefer an IS but we’ll see.

I’ve driven both, the IS is certainly nice, but not as good of a value IMO. It’s faster, but also feels a tad heavier. But either way, no bad choice.
